  • Adrian Hudson, director of Hudson Ecology Pty Ltd, has extensive experience in the fields of conservation, ecology and restoration and rehabilitation. His 20 year career began with Natal Parks Board in the early nineties, after which moving on to the North West university in Potchefstroom, before consulting on a vast number of projects throughout South Africa and the rest of Africa.

  • Adrian holds a BSc through the University of South Africa in Zoology and Physiology and a Masters' Degree in Environmental Science (Ecology) from the North West University in Potchefstroom, through which he is currently working on his PhD in Ecology.

  • Since starting his consulting career with Ecosun cc. in 2006, Adrian has conducted ecological studies in more than 20 countries in Africa and has work in almost all ecoregions on the continent. He has conducted a total of well over a hundred studies and produced, inter alia, ecological assessments, rehabilitation inputs, veld management plans, stocking rate plans and biodiversity action plans for a variety of clients.

  • The vision behind the establishment of Hudson Ecology was to establish a consulting company that would not only be able to produce affordable ecological solutions for a wide variety of clients, from big business to individuals, but also produce tailor made solutions by involving the client from conceptualisation of the project to the final deliverable and implemention.
